Fear of making a mistake has often caused me to sit like a little girl trapped in a box. Comparing myself to others, fear given an audible voice, “I could never speak in front of a crowd like that, so fluent and articulate. I could never be separated from the multitude as “great.”

The woman called to empower others with her words is yet terrified of spoken words. Father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, great-grandfather, great-grandmother urge her to take her place. They stood and they still stand in her heart so that she may take her place. Questioning first, her belief.

She is always on the sideline and never at the forefront seen by others as the shy quiet girl. Inside, however, there is a lioness ready to roar.
“I am my worst enemy.”

The frail scared voice will not travel here.

Belief.
